Event Calendar & Status Meanings
What does “Confirmed” mean on your calendar?
“Confirmed” means that we have applied to the event, and we are accepted to go to the event. We are looking forward to seeing you at that event.
What does “TBA / TBD” mean on your calendar?
“TBA/TBD” means that we have either applied to the event and waiting for hear back. It could also mean that we are interested in the event and looking into the event. It is not confirmed.
What does “Not Attending” mean on the calendar?
“Not Attending” means that we are unable to attend. It will still show up on our calendar because we want to support this event but have some sort of conflict with our schedule. Please remember that just because you don’t see a conflict in our schedule doesn’t mean that we don’t have other things going on.
Should I check back if an event is marked TBA?
Absolutely, please check back if an event is marked TBA. TBA is waiting for an application to be approved, or we have attended in the past and would like to attend again but the applications are not available yet.
Will you announce when a TBA event becomes confirmed?
It will be updated on our event page.
Why are some events listed even if you’re not attending?
We do have some events that we unfortunately can’t make due to scheduling conflicts. However, we still support these events and encourage you to visit.
Are “Not Attending” events still worth going to?
Absolutely, these are events that PJS Trading has gone to in the past and we can say that the event is worth going to.
Do you ever cancel confirmed events?
PJS Trading makes every effort to keep to the schedule we post. There are always things that come up beyond our control that makes it hard sometimes to attend an event that we scheduled to attend.

We post as soon as we are aware of events that PJS applies to.

Products at Events
What products will you be bringing to events?
Most items that you see on this website, I will have at the store. However, it will be more period specific. If you are looking for something on the website, you can always order it for pickup at the event. Remember that I have many more products at the events that will not be on the website as they are not stock inventory like my pewter cup selection as they are found all over the country at different events and places.
Will you have exclusive items only available at the event?
We are always finding odd and useful items through our travels that are only available at events. Sometimes, special items are introduced and showcased at events before their official release. All our non-stock items are only available at events like pewter cups, cast iron, cameos and items that we search for and cannot buy in quantity.
Can I request a product for you to bring?
Absolutely. You can order all our products on our website. You can also send me an email to PJSTrading1775@gmail.com or call me at 978-604-1597 by Wednesday before the event. Some events I am on the road between events and not stopping back by the office.
Will prices be the same as online?
Yes, we believe in one price policy where we do our best not to raise or lower prices between events.
Will you have limited quantities of items?
Yes. Quantities of items are limited. However, if you need more quantities of an item, please email us or call us.
Will sold-out items be available online afterward?
Yes. Absolutely.
Can you hold an item for me during the event?
Absolutely. Any purchases you make we can hold for you. We ask for a name and phone #. If it hasn’t been picked up, about half an hour before the end of the event is over, we will call you.
Ordering, Pickup & Payments
What payments do you accept at events?
Cash, card and Venmo.
Do you provide receipts for event purchases?
All credit/debit cards we offer a texted receipt for. If you need a receipt for any cash purchase, we will gladly write one up for you.
Can I place an order online and pick it up at the event?
Yes, you can purchase all our stock products online and pick them up at the event.
There is some of our products that are drop shipped from the manufacturer or are digital products.
If I am picking up an order at a paid event, can I meet you in the parking lot?
Yes, please call me at 978-604-1597 to arrange a time and place.
Can I leave my purchases at your booth and come back later the same day for pickup?
Absolutely. Any purchases you make we can hold for you. We ask for a name and phone #. If it hasn't been collected, we will call you about half an hour before the event ends.
Returns, Exchanges & Discounts
Can I return or exchange items purchased at an event once it leaves the tent?
Yes, we do offer returns and exchanges on our purchases. We stand behind our products with a standard 30-day return policy.
Will you have special event discounts or promotions?
At PJS Trading we strive to keep our prices low so do not offer many discounts or promotions on our stock products. There are times when we will come across Items that we can do promotions on.
Do you allow bulk buying of items or do you have a capacity limit at events?
We do have bulk buying of items, but we ask that you please contact us before the event so we can pick the items from our inventory for you. Our capacity limits are the inventory volume we have on hand at events which varies throughout the season. If we do not have enough inventory on hand for you, you can order it online on our website.

When is the best time of day to visit your tent?

It depends on the event. However, a suggestion is mid-afternoon.

There is so much activity going on that it really doesn’t feel that crowded.

Absolutely. We have quite a unique supply of items to check out. Also, with so many shows and activities. We welcome you to come and check out our booth as many times as you like, you will always find something different every time.

Can children try products before buying?
Absolutely. We have lots of toys and games for the kids to check out with parents’ permission. We are a hands-on store. We ask that you do not blow any of the musical instruments since Covid-19.

About PJS Trading at Events
Is the event run by PJS Trading?
We do not run the events we attend. We are sutlers (vendors) at the many events we attend.
How long have you been attending events like this?
We have been Revolutionary war reenactors since 2002 and have had many lifelong friends in the community before this. Around 2013 we started doing two events selling some toys and supplies. In 2016 we stepped out of our circle of events and expanded our horizons and started growing into what we are now.
What makes your event setup different from shopping online?
It is always more fun to come out and see an event like the reenactments, Rendezvous and Renaissance Faires. It is a whole new experience being there compared to sitting at home online. Come and visit us.
Is there knowledgeable staff to help me with my purchasing decisions?
Yes. We strive to have knowledge about our products in historical information. We also have many friends in the community we can refer you to for information.

Are you attending events outside your home state of Massachusetts?
Yes. We travel about 3 hours away from our home for most of the events we attend. We do travel for larger events. So far, we go west to Fort Niagara in Youngstown, NY and South to Kershaw, Sc for the Battle Camden reenactment and many places in between.
